Even though I am 21 days late, I have just found out the sad news that Mr. Hillman Curtis has passed away.
I was introduced to his documentary work in 2005 from a friend who heard of him from class. While my friend was intrigued of the content, I was blown away with the subtle aesthetics and delivery from Curtis.
Ever since that year, I always came back to his site for inspiration and find a reminder to keep doing what I do.
