Del Dios Lake Hodges - 3/15

After getting an email on the flower rush of Del Dios I went to check out the native plants that were growing. I found this spot to be like a hidden zone where all the pro native plant specialists or nature enthusiasts that travel to all the time. Before going out on this trip, the professor had told us in class how people excited that this year is the most "incredible display ever and may not be seen again.

As I walked to search for the crazy wildflowers produced by the weather recently, I only found these flowers. I then kept going on my trail and still could not find any good flowers to shoot. I finally realized that the wild flowers were already gone by the day I came.

Although, I hadn't seen the glorious beauty of the rare wildflowers I still left with the satisfaction of just being at the lake and the hills. Very good experience for the class and in life.
