4/13 daley ranch

It's almost time to submit the books and I thought my photos sucked so I thought I might check out one of the spots like Daley Ranch. It's free and close, and peaceful. I assumed there was a lot of native plants and native rock art. From taking a good long stroll I saw some stuff. I grabbed a grip of shots, took my time and here they are. Unprocessed. Peace.

Okay, this may count as my last "field trip" for the class and I'll have to give props for the teacher to let us freestyle our trips and photos. It may be a way to say the teacher can really teach. But enough BSing and more about the trip. If it weren't for this class, I wouldn't see the appreciation I have for shooting nature photographs. Alright now its time to peace out.

The Lake near school 4/9

Time was running out, and the semester comes close to an end. I found that in my photos for this class was not enough. I took the initiative to go to a lake near school and see if I can capture some dope photos. Unfortunately I forgot what the name of this lake was called but it reminds me of Lake Miramar but a smaller version. It was pretty sick to see that some plants had name tags and labels especially for us plant impaired.

Local lake Miramar 4/9

From my understanding in this point in the semester, I find myself quite behind a lot of my classes. But of course I don't stress since the classes I take are fun and have nothing on me(politely speaking). In this particular class, I wanted to get more photos so I decided to go to a local lake called Miramar lake to search for some subjects and stuff to photograph. Once again, these things are natures gifts to us that we may tend to overlook and today I have not overlooked. Peace and quiet and dope photos are truly great things to end the day with. But I'm a loud person, so I guess it balances with the quietness of miramar lake.
I honestly did not know if this was a native plant or flower, but with a pessimistic view it might be just another "import" in the world of plants and flowers.

It was getting cold and I didn't want to stop with just shooting where I was at. I learned from Del Dios that if i had struggle to search for the good spots I can get great shots. I wouldn't consider this sunset particularly good, but for ending the day it was dope.

Del Dios Lake Hodges - 3/15

After getting an email on the flower rush of Del Dios I went to check out the native plants that were growing. I found this spot to be like a hidden zone where all the pro native plant specialists or nature enthusiasts that travel to all the time. Before going out on this trip, the professor had told us in class how people excited that this year is the most "incredible display ever and may not be seen again.

As I walked to search for the crazy wildflowers produced by the weather recently, I only found these flowers. I then kept going on my trail and still could not find any good flowers to shoot. I finally realized that the wild flowers were already gone by the day I came.

Although, I hadn't seen the glorious beauty of the rare wildflowers I still left with the satisfaction of just being at the lake and the hills. Very good experience for the class and in life.
