classic simpsons clip.

I actually like Bill Cosby's stand ups back in the day and even the show itself not the one on CBS, but this clip here is something I will always remember when The Simpsons was at it's prime.

haven't done shit on this blog for a LONG TIME. (its also my bday, rebirth of posting stuff again)

Well lets start from last week... It was a saturday afternoon when I went to the Alpha office and I was testing out my newly bought Canon 1014 super 8 camera from ebay. I got it at a good deal, but not a steal(under 20 bucks). Either way it was working until I shot some footage and it died on me. Everything had worked but the power wasn't transmitting... I checked all the contacts and such it was clean. So as soon as I got home I was just looking for the manual online and I found a link to open and hopefully repair the camera. It was so ironic, cause it was a post on a forum that was made 1 day prior to finding that my camera didn't work. So I followed the instructions: you take out all the minor screws that hold the camera together. Alright after doin all this crap I tried to rip apart the top cause the instructions say you can by that point. It didn't work, so I gave up and went to surf. Since I don't really celebrate my birthday, I prefer just to hang out with friends and that is what I did. The in4mation dudes were over in SD for the ASR tradeshow(I didn't go this year, since I had barbacked the night before thus comin home at 4 or 5 not sleeping till 6) and we met up at DDUBS pad for a skate session BBQ. I grabbed my other super 8 cam, some film, a video camera, and a still camera and it was a pretty good to be able to just shoot stuff. Just having fun. It definitely destroyed any "BDAY party". Ghost stories are always rad at night.

A temp gig in Huntington

I was at a local car stereo shop tryin to get my shit fixed and I got a call from my old boss. He asked me if I was down to work for 4 days with food, accomadations and pay as a floor AV technician. Dude at times like this u gotta try everything. Little did I know it was for the VANS product launch. To be doin two things I like? RAD. We had to unload audio video shit out of these cases; speakers, projector screens, light setups. MASSIVE WORK. BOMB FOOD for 3 1/2 days. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The final meeting and party for VANS, FREE OPEN BAR. Need I say more? oh yea these kids were here. After all the setups, our work shows. check out the lighting and stage setups
