Indian Rock Trip
Honestly I thought Indian Rock would be at a more open area or reservation type setting. I was pretty surprised at the fact that the place was located in a suburban area. But of course as soon as I pulled out the camera it was a different story.
As we see things through a camera lens, I find that I can be in another world. It's like going through a portal and this is similar to what a lot of drug users refer to as "getting high". Typically our fast pace culture allows us to view things only if it grabs our attention. At the Indian Rock, I put myself back 100 years and imagined as if the area was not developed and untouched. Indeed with imagination you can get the feeling that this place is really not what it seems. It goes to show how unappreciative we are with the things that are best in life, things that have already been given to us; earth's natural resources.
